The
business was originally formed by Rob Midgley in September 1998 and
incorporated in October 2002, following his resignation from the family
company, after it was sold, where he was the Financial Director for
13 years.
This business had grown from a start-up to a £22.5 million turnover
company at the time of its sale 15 years later. During this time the
company remained profitable and cashflow positive, with borrowing
used only for major capital expenditure.
Sterling Financial was founded to provide financial support to growing
businesses utilising the experiences gained managing the finances
of an entrepreneurial company and winner of several awards for growth.
